I’ve seen so many people on tumblr comparing Yoi to KS, you might just not be looking for it. You don’t have to be straight to fetishize a gay relationship, and anybody demonizing straight people are just as bad as homophobes :/
WARNING: If you don’t want to believe heterophobia is a thing, please kindly keep ur opinion to urself because I don’t associate with heterophobes people thank you.
People who have some grain of logic will understand that the comparison between YOI and KS is purely because both fans from YOI had nothing better to do but find new stuff so someone joked around and posted KS as a meme in comparison to YOI. And it was supposed to be funny because they’re the complete opposite of each other. There’s nothing to compare and nobody compared it. it was a memeBut some of y’all pretended that the ‘comparing’ wasn’t a joke and took it serious and made it a LGBTQ+ think and a ‘yaoi fangirls’ thing because they’re the usual escape goat. Credit to @fedonny for making a trending heterophobic post, turning a funny meme into a serious matter that didn’t have to be one at all:
And since apparently many of you here on Tumblr are also non-ironically heterophobic like this person, the post blew up (I know that a lot of people were against this post tho so thank god for that but it still gave the post a false sense of a popular opinion) and now everyone who read this just went ‘oh it’s a popular opinion which means it must hold value’ and jumped the bandwagon Because heterophobia is so commonly accepted in Tumblr culture, people are actually blind to it like hey! Heterophobes and homophobes got something in common, guys! They both like to pretend they don’t exist.
Like okay ur an asshole and you wanna be edgy but shit like this has literally become Tumblr culture and accepted among most of you: (shout out to @fedonny for some more exposure I know you love it I gotchu! ur a great person.)
Like I know you think ur being cute and you will get support from others since again, heterophobia is really cute on Tumblr and partly on twitter also but if you behave like this ur not open minded or accepting. Ur just an asshole:
Meanwhile you’re all jerkin’ the
gherkin and
Muffin buffin’
to the millions of NSFW fanfiction/art you’ve collectively made while pointing ur fingers at the ‘straights’ and screaming FETISHIZING STRAIGHTS RUIN EVERYTHING. Like once again I’d like to point out that ‘str8-to-gay’ is a common tag on gay porn sites that fetishizes straight men but nobody mentions that because otherwise we have no way to blame the straights. Porn is the biggest industry for a reason because we’re all, to the exception of a few, horny human bastards. So I love how some of y’all use the word ‘fetishizing’ so much to demonize straight people when it’s in fact just an empty word caused by internalized sex-negativity.
Honestly, to anyone who ‘ships’ this paring from Killing Stalking like it’s something cute (AKA NOT every straight person like so many of y’all try to insinuate but actual people who struggle with BPD or different mental illnesses):like I honestly can’t be bothered if they think KS has ‘relationship goals’ and u dream of being in a Stockholm syndrome/Oedipus relationship like them because that’s literally their own problem and has nothing to do with me or the LGBTQ+. But for some reason everyone like to make it a LGBTQ+ problem. (*Cough* Like Tumblr always does.)
Like I GET that right now the YOI tag must be filled with KS memes and to people who don’t care about that are forced to look at it right now. That’s just the effect of a hype and the good thing about that is that a hype quickly dies down anyways. I can’t help u if KS is triggering it’s just a hype mentality NOT an LGBTQ+ issue and everyone needs to stop making it into one cause it’s just counterproductive af.
